What ChessForge is — and is not
- It is a fixed set of 12 tactics puzzles with per-puzzle hints, solution checking, and lite progress tracking (attempts and solved count, saved to your account).
- It is not an engine. Nothing here evaluates positions, suggests moves, or analyses your games — there is no engine in this tool at all.
- It is not a game. There are no full games, no computer opponent, and no online play against other people.
- It is not a puzzle generator. The set does not grow, adapt to your rating, or track a rating — it is the same 12 positions for everyone.
- Positions are described in words (piece lists, not an interactive board), so you solve by reading the position and typing moves.
