What it does

  • Four performance decks — play/pause, CDJ-style CUE with hold-to-preview, pitch faders (±8/16/50%), pitch bend, tempo reset.
  • AI stem separation (new in 1.1.0) — true neural-network stems (Demucs) computed on your own machine: split any track into vocals, drums, bass and other, then mute or solo each live on the deck. Mute the vocal for an instrumental, solo it for a clean acapella. Each song is separated once and cached; the free-running "DSP lite" toggles remain for tracks you haven't separated.
  • SYNC — tempo + beat-phase alignment to a designated master deck, and key lock (real time-stretch) so you can change tempo without changing pitch.
  • Hi-res waveforms — scrolling + full-track overview, colored by frequency band (lows/mids/highs), with beat-grid lines, loop shading and hot-cue markers.
  • 8 hot cues per deck, saved per track, plus beat-snapped auto-loops (1–32 beats), manual loop in/out, and slip mode.
  • Automatic analysis — BPM + beatgrid and musical-key detection (Camelot + classic notation) for every track, with tap tempo and grid-nudge tools to correct the estimate.
  • Full mixer — per-channel trim, 3-band EQ with kills, sweep filter, VU meters, crossfader with three curves, master limiter.
  • FX per channel — beat-synced Echo, Reverb, Flanger, Bitcrusher and Filter, all real DSP.
  • Sampler — 8 pads of synthesized one-shots (kick, snare, clap, hats, ride, siren, air horn, scratch), or load your own samples.
  • Automix — point it at a crate and it mixes back-to-back with timed crossfades and optional tempo sync.
  • Mix recording — capture the master output to a WAV file in one click.
  • Library & crates — import files or folders (drag & drop works), automatic title/artist/album tags, search, sorting by BPM/key/duration, crates and a timestamped play history.
  • Any MIDI controller via MIDI Learn — bind play/cue/faders/EQ/hot cues yourself — plus full keyboard control and headphone cueing (second output device supported).

⚠️ v1 scope notes — read before you buy

  • AI stems run locally, per song — not real-time magic. Separation happens on your computer (nothing is uploaded), takes roughly a minute or two per song on a typical laptop, and is then cached. The first use downloads the 158 MB model once. On macOS the AI engine needs Apple Silicon — Intel Macs keep the DSP-lite toggles only. The always-available "DSP lite" toggles are a real-time filter approximation — the AI stems are the real thing, but they are prepared per track, not conjured mid-performance for a track you just loaded.
  • No streaming catalogs. No Spotify / TIDAL / Beatport / SoundCloud integration — those need licensed partnerships. DeckForge plays your local files (MP3/WAV/FLAC/OGG/M4A/AAC/AIFF/Opus).
  • No video mixing or karaoke.
  • No DVS / timecode vinyl.
  • No factory controller mappings. Pioneer / Native Instruments / Denon maps are licensed IP; MIDI Learn lets you bind any class-compliant controller in a few minutes, and bindings are saved.
  • BPM and key detection are estimates. Unusual material (live recordings, heavy syncopation) can be off, including octave errors — tap tempo, BPM edit and grid-nudge tools are included to correct them.

If any of the above is a deal-breaker for you, v1 isn't for you yet — and we'd rather tell you now than after checkout.

Windows 10/11 (64-bit) and macOS (Intel & Apple Silicon).

The installers are unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen and macOS Gatekeeper may show a warning on first launch — this is normal for a new publisher. On macOS, right-click the app and choose Open; on Windows, choose "More info → Run anyway".
