📣 What this app will do for you
This app will take a book: author, title, year and turn it into a correct citation in APA, MLA, and Chicago. It's your Citations in APA/MLA/Chicago — built for exactly that job.
A citation and bibliography generator for APA, MLA, and Chicago styles. Type in the source details, get a formatted bibliography entry, copy it, and save it to your bibliography list.

What CiteForge is — and is not
- It is a formatter for bibliography entries you describe yourself: books, journal articles, and web pages, in APA, MLA, or Chicago style, with a one-click copy button and a saved bibliography list under your account.
- It is not a source checker. It never looks anything up, so a typo in an author name, title, year, or page range passes straight through into the output.
- It does not cover every source type. Legal cases, statutes, datasets, dissertations, conference papers, videos, podcasts, and other types are not supported in this version — and in-text citations are not generated.
- Output is plain text. Book and journal titles are not italicized automatically; italicize them in your own document, and double-check every entry against your institution's or publisher's style guide.
