What CounterOrder is — and is not
- It is a draft-order builder: your catalog, pasted customer requests, deterministic matching, and your explicit confirmation of every ambiguous product and quantity.
- Nothing is confirmed until you confirm it. Even a cleanly matched line needs your confirmation click before the order can finalize.
- It is not a checkout, inventory, or supplier system. Finalizing an order only marks it confirmed inside this tool. It does not collect payment, deduct stock, or send the order to a supplier — there is no supplier-system integration in v1.
- It is not a transcription or document-reading tool. Voice messages are not transcribed and binary documents (PDF, Word, images) are not parsed. Paste the text instead.
- One workspace per buying account. There is no cross-account sharing and no customer-facing confirmation link in v1.
- Totals use an explicit formula only: quantity × the unit price you entered in your catalog, summed over lines that have both. Lines without a quantity or a price show “unknown”, never a guessed total.
- AI clarify is optional and labeled AI-assisted, never verified. It only reorganizes text you pasted, writes nothing to an order, and degrades to the manual draft flow when the AI is unavailable.
