What CrewKit is — and is not
- It is a manual record keeper: equipment list, per-job packing lists, missing-equipment alerts from your own numbers, date reservations, checkout records, and return checklists.
- It is not a tracker. No QR labels, no scanning, no GPS, no real-time location, and no automatic stock counts. If gear goes missing in the real world, CrewKit only knows what you tell it.
- It is not an inventory system. Imports are pasted text or plain-text/CSV uploads only. Binary documents are not parsed, and nothing syncs with another tool.
- It does not message anyone. No emails, texts, or crew notifications — alerts live on this page only.
- One account, one workspace. No sharing, no collaborators, no cross-account access.
