🩻 CT Review Desk
📣 What this app will do for you
This app will let you review CT studies on your own computer: open conventional DICOM slices, scroll and window them, take distance and Hounsfield-unit measurements that unlock only on calibrated images, and assemble an evidence packet and structured draft labeled as requiring radiologist review. Heads up: it needs Python 3.11+ installed (3.12 recommended) and a first launch with internet; cases are held in memory, so unsaved work is lost when it closes; there is no 3D or MPR; AI assistance uses an endpoint you configure yourself; it is not a clinically validated or diagnostic product. Backed by a 7-day money-back guarantee.
A desktop workstation for reviewing CT studies you already have: open real DICOM slices, scroll and window them, take calibrated measurements, and assemble an explicit evidence packet and a structured draft for radiologist review. Every draft is labeled “AI-generated draft — requires radiologist review.”

What it does
- Real DICOM, honestly bounded. Conventional single-frame CT studies are decoded pixel-for-pixel; enhanced/multiframe and secondary-capture objects are refused, not faked. ZIP imports are hardened, identity conflicts between files are flagged, and patient identity is only ever fingerprinted — never sent anywhere.
- A working viewer. Scroll slices, adjust window/level, zoom and pan, with orientation and labels derived only from the study's own metadata.
- Measurements that respect calibration. Distance measurements unlock only on non-scout DICOM with valid pixel spacing; Hounsfield-unit ROI statistics only on calibrated frames. Screenshot and scout measurements are refused in code — a number the pixels can't support is never shown.
- Three modes, stated plainly. Local workstation (viewing and measuring), an offline evidence draft (which states explicitly that no AI image interpretation occurred), and an AI-assisted draft through an endpoint you configure yourself — local models supported, nothing bundled.
- AI with a paper trail. Nothing is sent until you've seen and consented to the exact request; the payload is hashed into the draft's provenance, and output that invents measurements or formal categories (Lung-RADS, RECIST, TNM…) is rejected and quarantined.
- A synthetic demo study is included, so you can try the viewer, measurements, and drafting with no patient files and no AI account.
⚠️ Read before you buy — requirements and limits
- Requires Python 3.11 or newer installed on your computer (free from python.org) — the launcher accepts 3.11–3.14; 3.12 is recommended and is the version it was verified with. The download is the app's source plus launchers, not a one-click installer.
- First launch needs internet. The launcher creates a private environment and downloads the app's Python packages; after that, local work runs offline.
- Runs only on your own computer. Your studies stay on your machine; the only thing that ever leaves it is a request you preview and approve to an AI endpoint you configured.
- No key is included — and the core needs none. Viewing, measurements, and the offline evidence draft work with no account at all. AI assistance uses an endpoint you run or subscribe to yourself; the $29 buys this software only.
- Cases live in memory. If you close the app without exporting, unsaved work is gone — the app discloses this, and so do we, here, before checkout.
- No 3D, MPR, segmentation, or calcium scoring — stated here and enforced in the app.
- Not a clinically validated product and not a diagnostic system. This is review and drafting software. Its verification is software testing, not a diagnostic-accuracy study, and it has no regulatory clearance.
- Verified on Linux; Windows and Mac first launch still pending. The launchers for Windows (.bat) and Mac (.command) are included and the app's logic is fully test-verified, but a first launch on real Windows and Mac hardware hasn't been done yet — we'd rather say that plainly.
If any of the above is a deal-breaker for you, CT Review Desk isn't for you yet — and we'd rather tell you now than after checkout.
