What FieldParts is — and is not
- It is a search over your own pasted or uploaded reference entries for HVAC equipment: equipment model, part number, part name, description, recorded source, and distinguishing detail.
- It is not a parts catalog. No parts database ships with the app, nothing is looked up externally, and no result is a verified cross-reference or a compatibility guarantee.
- It does not order parts and shows no prices, quantities, or availability — those are never invented here.
- Similar parts are flagged, not resolved. When results share a part name, the app highlights their distinguishing details and leaves the choice to you and the authorized manual.
- Your data stays in your workspace. References belong to the buying account that entered them; there is no sharing across accounts in v1.
