📣 What this app will do for you
This app will put your Gmail in a desktop app on Windows — read, send, and search across multiple accounts, signed in with an app-specific password over IMAP/SMTP (there is no OAuth sign-in in v1). Your password is stored only in your OS keychain, and the app talks to your mail provider's servers, never to CertSight beyond activation. Heads up: sending is plain text in v1, and there is no macOS or Linux build yet.
Your Gmail in a desktop app — no browser tab required.
$29 one-time price. No subscription. Yours forever.

What's included: the full InboxForge app for Windows · one license covers 3 computers (free a slot anytime from your CertSight account page by regenerating your key) · your license key is emailed at checkout and can also be shown on screen right after payment.
What it does
- A Gmail desktop client over IMAP — your folders and messages in a desktop window, newest first, 50 per page.
- Multiple accounts — add several mail accounts, each with its own IMAP/SMTP settings; a one-click preset fills in Gmail's servers.
- Read your mail — HTML messages are rendered sanitized (scripts and trackers stripped), and remote images stay blocked until you choose to load them.
- Send mail — plain-text sending over SMTP from any of your accounts.
- Search that understands mail — server-side search with from:, subject:, is:unread, has:attachment, and date filters.
- Everyday triage — mark messages read or unread, and delete to Trash.
- One activation call, then it leaves you alone. After activation the app works offline on a 30-day trust window; the only CertSight request it ever makes is that activation check. Everything else goes to your own mail provider's servers.
⚠️ Scope notes — read before you buy
- No OAuth sign-in in v1. You sign in with an app-specific password — the special password your provider issues for mail apps — never your main account password. For Gmail that means turning on 2-Step Verification and creating an app password in your Google account first. There is no "Sign in with Google" button, and InboxForge is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
- Your password stays on your computer. It is stored in your OS keychain, and the app connects only to your mail provider's IMAP/SMTP servers — your credentials and your mail never pass through CertSight.
- Windows only for now. The download below is a Windows portable build. There is no macOS or Linux build yet — we'd rather say that plainly than promise one. Your license will work on those builds if and when they're published.
- Sending is plain text in v1. No HTML composing and no formatted signatures in the first version.
- Human GUI click-through is still pending. Checkout, licensing, and activation are covered end to end by automated tests, but the app's hands-on flows have not yet had a full human play-through on a real Windows machine — the in-app experience is v1 and we will say so plainly until that pass is done.
If any of the above is a deal-breaker for you, v1 isn't for you yet — and we'd rather tell you now than after checkout.
Download
Windows 10/11 (64-bit), portable build — no installer, just download and run.
macOS and Linux are not available yet. There is no build for them today; if one is published later, this same license key will activate it.
The app is unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may show a warning on first launch — this is normal for a new publisher. Choose "More info → Run anyway" to start it.
How activation works: at checkout your license key is emailed to you (and can be shown on screen right after payment). Enter it on the app's activation screen — one license activates on up to 3 computers, with 30-day offline trust after activation. Lost the key? Generate a fresh one from your account page; the old key stops working.
