What InstallReady is — and is not
- It is a per-job checklist organizer for appliance installations: you define the requirements, you record the customer's photo descriptions/links and measurements against them, and missing required items are flagged.
- It is not automated verification. Nothing here checks whether a photo, measurement, or answer is correct, sufficient, or safe. A checklist with every item answered still needs a human review.
- It does not schedule work or message customers. No booking, no reminders, no texts or emails to customers — the owner records answers here directly.
- No file uploads in v1. Photo answers are typed descriptions and/or pasted links. No photo, PDF, Word, video, or audio files are stored or parsed here; for documents, paste the text instead.
- Appliances only in v1. Other installation categories are not supported yet.
- Numbers are only counts from your own checklist. "X of Y required items answered" is computed from your requirements and recorded answers. Measurements are stored exactly as you entered them, unit included — nothing is converted, estimated, or invented.
- One workspace per buying account. No team sharing, no customer logins, no cross-account visibility.
