📹 JoinForge

📣 What this app will do for you

This app will put one-click Zoom joining in your Windows system tray — paste a meeting link, click Join, and it opens in your installed Zoom app with the meeting ID and passcode read from the link. It can also watch your clipboard for Zoom links (off by default, and nothing from your clipboard is uploaded anywhere) and keeps your last 100 joins in a history stored only on your computer. Heads up: it launches Zoom rather than hosting meetings, it needs the full invite link rather than a bare meeting ID, and there is no macOS or Linux build yet.

Paste a Zoom link, click Join — you're in the meeting.

What it does

  • A one-click Zoom joiner. Paste a full Zoom meeting link, click Join, and JoinForge hands it to your operating system, which opens it in your installed Zoom app — meeting ID and passcode are read from the link for you.
  • Accepts the link forms Zoom actually sends — zoom.us/j/, /wc/join/ and /s/ links, regional hosts (like us02web.zoom.us), vanity subdomains, and zoommtg:// launch links. A link that isn't a Zoom link gets a clear error, never a guessed meeting.
  • Optional display name — set the name you join under and it's passed through to the meeting.
  • Clipboard watch (opt-in). Turn it on and JoinForge spots a Zoom link when you copy one — even inside a longer message — and offers a one-click Join. Clipboard watching is off by default, and nothing from your clipboard is ever uploaded anywhere.
  • A local join history. Your last 100 joins (link, meeting ID, name used, time) are stored only on your computer, so rejoining a recurring meeting is one click. Delete entries or clear the whole history anytime — there is no cloud sync, no telemetry, and no account.
  • Lives in your system tray. Closing the window hides JoinForge to the tray instead of quitting, and the tray menu can rejoin your last meeting.
  • One activation call, then it leaves you alone. The only request JoinForge ever makes to CertSight is the activation check; everything else stays on your computer.

⚠️ Scope notes — read before you buy

  • JoinForge launches Zoom — it does not host meetings. There is no video, audio, chat, or screen sharing in JoinForge itself; your meeting still happens in the Zoom app (or Zoom in your browser). You need Zoom installed, or a browser that can open Zoom's web client.
  • Paste the full link, not just the meeting ID. JoinForge reads the meeting ID and passcode out of the invite link — a bare meeting ID on its own isn't accepted.
  • Not affiliated with Zoom. JoinForge is an independent CertSight app. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Zoom Video Communications, Inc., and contains no Zoom branding or assets — it simply opens Zoom links the way your operating system would.
  • Windows only for now. The download below is a Windows portable build. There is no macOS or Linux build yet — we'd rather say that plainly than promise one. Your license will work on those builds if and when they're published.
  • Human GUI click-through is still pending. Checkout, licensing, and activation are covered end to end by automated tests, but the app's hands-on flows have not yet had a full human play-through on a real Windows machine — the in-app experience is v1 and we will say so plainly until that pass is done.

If any of the above is a deal-breaker for you, v1 isn't for you yet — and we'd rather tell you now than after checkout.

Download

Windows 10/11 (64-bit), portable build — no installer, just download and run.

macOS and Linux are not available yet. There is no build for them today; if one is published later, this same license key will activate it.

The app is unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may show a warning on first launch — this is normal for a new publisher. Choose "More info → Run anyway" to start it.

How activation works: at checkout your license key is emailed to you (and can be shown on screen right after payment). Enter it on the app's activation screen — one license activates on up to 3 computers, with 30-day offline trust after activation. Lost the key? Generate a fresh one from your account page; the old key stops working.
