🧪 LabLens
📣 What this app will do for you
This app will help you review laboratory reports on your own computer: import results, verify each value against its source, and produce a structured draft whose trends and critical flags are computed by fixed rules — reference ranges are only ever the ones your lab printed, never invented. Every report is labeled as an AI-generated laboratory analysis requiring clinician review. Heads up: it needs Python 3.11+ installed and a first launch with internet; the full local workflow needs no key, and optional AI extraction and interpretation run on your own OpenAI key and billing; it is not a clinically validated or diagnostic product. Backed by a 7-day money-back guarantee.
A workbench for reviewing laboratory reports: import results, verify each value against its source, and produce a structured draft whose trends and flags are computed by fixed deterministic rules. LabLens never invents a reference range — the only ranges it shows are the ones the reporting lab printed.

What it does
- Imports that refuse to guess. CSV/TSV tables with an explicit column mapping, pasted text, TXT/JSON, text-based PDFs, and images (optional local OCR). Values stay exactly as reported — strings, units, flags and all — and imports that can't be mapped completely are refused rather than partially invented.
- A real verification workflow. Edit each field, view its source, mark it verified or unresolved, and record correction and duplicate relationships. AI interpretation stays locked until every active row is verified and blocking conflicts are cleared.
- Trends computed, not narrated. Changes across reports (for example hemoglobin 12.2 → 11.8) are calculated by the app's rules engine. The AI layer is structurally forbidden from supplying trends — anything it sends for them is discarded and overwritten with the computed values.
- Critical flags from the lab's own flags. Urgent alerts appear only when the reporting lab's own reported flag matches a fixed critical token set — and they're display-only; the app never claims anyone was notified.
- Optional AI, behind consent. With your own key, AI can extract results from messy layouts and draft interpretation; a screening pass rejects drafts that state diagnoses, dosing, invented thresholds, or citations.
- Save, reopen, export. Cases save as JSON; reports export as Markdown or HTML, or print to PDF. Every report is labeled “AI-generated laboratory analysis — requires clinician review,” and local summaries are additionally labeled to show no AI interpretation was run.
⚠️ Read before you buy — requirements and limits
- Requires Python 3.11 or newer installed on your computer (free from python.org) — the download is the app's source plus launchers, not a one-click installer.
- First launch needs internet. The launcher creates a private environment and downloads the app's Python packages; after that, local work runs offline.
- Runs only on your own computer. It's a single-user local app — it opens at a private address on your own machine (127.0.0.1), and your files stay there except anything you choose to send to OpenAI with your own key for an AI feature.
- AI features run on your own OpenAI API key and your own OpenAI billing. The $29 buys this software only — no AI account, credits, or subscription are included, and CertSight never sees your key (it stays in the app's memory on your computer).
- Without a key, the full local workflow works — import, verification, deterministic trends and flags, and the rules-based summary. The key only adds AI extraction from messy documents and AI-drafted interpretation.
- Not a clinically validated product and not a diagnostic system. This is review and drafting software. Its verification is software testing, not a diagnostic-accuracy study, and it has no regulatory clearance.
- Verified on Linux; Windows and Mac first launch still pending. The launchers for Windows (.bat) and Mac (.command) are included and the app's logic is fully test-verified, but a first launch on real Windows and Mac hardware hasn't been done yet — we'd rather say that plainly.
- OCR depends on your machine. Scanned-document OCR uses Tesseract (and Poppler for scanned PDFs) if installed; typed files and tables work without them.
If any of the above is a deal-breaker for you, LabLens isn't for you yet — and we'd rather tell you now than after checkout.
