📇 Lecture Flashcards
📣 What this app will do for you
This app will take a lecture transcript on cell biology and turn it into flashcards + a quiz from the lecture. It's your Lectures to flashcards + quizzes — built for exactly that job.
Paste a lecture transcript or your notes, and turn them into flashcards you can actually study from. Every card shows the exact source line it came from — nothing is invented, and nothing is added that was not in your text.
$29 one-time.

How it works
- Deterministic first. Cards are built in your browser from your text alone: sentences are split, repeated key terms are picked out, “X is / are / means” definitions become Q&A pairs, and headings become questions about the section that follows.
- Traceable. Each card displays its source line, so you can check every answer against what the lecture actually said.
- Study mode. Flip cards, mark each one known or unknown, and watch your progress count.
- Export. Download your deck as JSON or Markdown to keep or print.
- Optional AI rephrasing. Owners can ask the AI to rephrase the same cards more clearly. It is instructed to use only the source line — and if the AI is unavailable, you simply keep the deterministic cards, clearly labeled.
⚠️ Honest limits — please read
- Cards can only be as good as the text you paste. If a point is missing or vague in the lecture, no card will magically fill it in — and the generator will not invent one.
- Heading detection is a heuristic (short title-like lines). A sentence that happens to look like a title can be misread as a heading.
- Only pasted text and .txt / .md files are supported. PDF, Word, audio, and video files are not supported — paste the transcript text instead.
- Your text and cards live only in this browser tab. They are not saved to your account and progress is lost if you reload or close the page — export your deck if you want to keep it.
- The optional AI rephrasing sends only the generated cards (question, answer, source line) to the AI service — never your full pasted text — and you should still review rephrased cards before studying them.
