✂️ LessonCut
📣 What this app will do for you
This app will take a 20-minute teaching video + its transcript and turn it into an edit plan that cuts with care, keeping the teaching points. It's your Teaching-video edit planner — built for exactly that job.
A teaching-video edit planner for one video at a time. Paste your video's transcript, segment it by timestamp, add chapter markers, flag the steps students must not lose, and record pause removals as an edit plan to follow in a video editor. LessonCut does not accept, render, or output video.
$79 one-time.

What LessonCut is — and is not
- It is an instructor-authored edit planner: pasted transcript, editable timestamped segments, instructor-added chapter markers, essential-step flags, a recorded cut list, captions from your segments, and an export of chapters + edited transcript + captions + edit list.
- It is not transcription. There is no auto-transcription in v1 — you paste the transcript yourself.
- It is not a video editor that outputs video. There is no upload, no transcoding, and no rendering in v1. The export is an edit plan to follow in a real video editor.
- It does not detect chapters automatically. Every chapter marker is one you added and can edit.
- Essential steps are protected: a cut overlapping a step you flagged essential is refused and nothing is saved.
- One video at a time: each lesson covers a single video, with its own transcript, chapters, and edit list.
