🗺️ MigrationMap

📣 What this app will do for you

This app will take customer records moving from an old system and turn it into a mapped move with a reconciliation check. It's your Move business data with reconciliation — built for exactly that job.

Move business data without losing track of what changed. Paste or upload an old-system export, map it to your new system's columns, and get a reconciliation report that accounts for every single row.

Fictional example — what a conversion looks like

⚠️ Fictional example, not a customer result. The numbers below are the real output of MigrationMap's own conversion logic (run on the made-up input shown), so you can see converted, flagged, and unmapped rows before you buy. Nothing here came from a real customer's data.

Made-up old-system input (CSV):
old_id,old_name,old_email,legacy_note
1,Ann,ann@example.com,VIP
2,Bob,,late signup
1,Ann,ann@example.com,VIP
3,Carol,carol@example.com,

Destination columns, confirmed by the user: customer_id = old_id · full_name = old_name · email = old_email · notes = intentionally left blank.

Converted rows (output CSV):
customer_id,full_name,email,notes
1,Ann,ann@example.com,
3,Carol,carol@example.com,

Flagged rows — rejected from the output, held for review: source row 2 (Bob) — mapped field 'old_email' is empty; source row 3 (the second Ann row) — exact duplicate of an earlier row.

Left unmapped (listed, never silently dropped): source field legacy_note was not mapped to any destination, so its values do not appear in the output. Destination field notes was intentionally left blank.

Reconciliation: 4 rows in = 2 rows out + 2 rows flagged — reconciles exactly.

What MigrationMap is — and is not

  • It is a two-pair v1 migrator: CSV → CSV with different columns, and JSON → CSV — with user-confirmed mappings, a flagged-record review queue, a before/after preview, and an exact reconciliation report.
  • It is not a live sync, a database connector, or an automatic importer into your new system. It produces a CSV (and a report) for you to import yourself; it never writes to your old or new system.
  • It does not guess silently. Proposed mappings are suggestions only. Nothing converts until you confirm every mapping, and unmapped fields are listed in the report, never dropped without a trace.
  • It does not parse binary documents. No spreadsheets, PDFs, or database files in v1 — paste the text or upload a plain-text/CSV/JSON file.
  • It does not invent data. Values come only from your export and your confirmed mappings; a destination with no source stays blank and is reported as blank.
  • Nothing leaves your browser. Your export is not sent to CertSight's server, so it does not sync across devices; download your output before clearing your browser data.
