🎛️ MixForge

📣 What this app will do for you

This app will mix four tracks at once with a 5-band EQ on every track, split any track into vocals, drums, bass, and other down to the acapella, and record the finished mix to WAV — everything on your computer, nothing uploaded. Heads up: on macOS you need Apple Silicon (M1 or later). Backed by a 7-day money-back guarantee.

Four tracks at once. Your EQ on every one. Stems down to the acapella. Record the mix you just made.

What it does

  • Four tracks playing at once — load four songs (or four parts of one project) and hear them together, each on its own channel with its own volume and controls.
  • A 5-band EQ slider set per track — shape the tone of every track separately: lows, low-mids, mids, high-mids and highs, with a slider for each band. Turn a muddy track clean or push a vocal forward without touching the other three.
  • AI stem separation on any track — split a track into vocals, drums, bass and other, right inside the mixer. Take a song all the way down to the acapella (vocals only) or strip the vocals out for an instrumental, then mix the result with your other tracks.
  • Record the output — hit record and MixForge captures the mix you hear — all four tracks, EQ and stems included — as a finished WAV file, ready to share or drop into your DAW.
  • Everything runs on your computer. Your tracks are never uploaded anywhere; the AI separation and the recording both happen locally.
  • Made a track with StemForge? Its stems drop straight into MixForge's four channels, too.

⚠️ Scope notes — read before you buy

  • macOS needs Apple Silicon (M1 or later). The AI stem engine doesn't ship an Intel Mac build, so there is no Intel Mac version of MixForge — the download below is Apple Silicon only. Windows 10/11 (64-bit) is fully supported.
  • AI separation isn't magic. Busy mixes, heavy reverb and live recordings separate less cleanly than studio recordings. The stems are excellent for remixes, karaoke, sampling and practice — not a replacement for the original multitracks.
  • Mixdown recordings are WAV files. That's the format producers and DJs actually want (lossless, DAW-ready) — but if you need MP3 exports, v1 doesn't do that; any free converter can turn the WAVs into MP3s.
  • Human interaction QA is still pending. The app's hands-on flows — playing four tracks together, working the EQ sliders, separating stems and recording a mix — have not yet had a full human play-through pass. The licensing, checkout and activation paths are covered by automated tests; the in-app experience is v1 and we will say so plainly until that pass is done.

If any of the above is a deal-breaker for you, v1 isn't for you yet — and we'd rather tell you now than after checkout.

Download

Windows 10/11 (64-bit), Linux (64-bit) and macOS (Apple Silicon, M1 or later).

The macOS installer is being prepared and will appear here the moment it's published — your license key will work as soon as it's posted.

The installers are unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen and macOS Gatekeeper may show a warning on first launch — this is normal for a new publisher. On macOS, right-click the app and choose Open; on Windows, choose "More info → Run anyway".
