The six studios

  • Image Studio — Photoshop-style raster editing: layers (raster, text and shape), brush/eraser/fill/eyedropper/crop, per-layer pixel adjustments (brightness, contrast, exposure, saturation, hue, gamma, blur, sharpen), full undo/redo, export PNG/JPG/WebP.
  • Vector Studio — Illustrator-style editable SVG design: pen tool with Bézier handles, shapes, gradients, grouping, alignment and distribution, a live element panel, clean SVG export or PNG at 2×.
  • PDF Studio — Acrobat-style PDF page operations plus annotations (highlights and text notes) burned into the exported PDF.
  • AI Studio — OpenAI image generation and image editing/restoration using your own API key (BYOK) — including the photo → restored-poster flow into Image and Vector Studio.

⚠️ Scope notes — read before you buy

  • Not a timeline editor. The Video and Audio studios are operation-based clip tools (trim/join/convert/effects on whole clips) — not Premiere/Audition-style timeline or multitrack editors.
  • Normalization is single-pass. Audio normalize uses a single-pass loudnorm (EBU R128 to −16 LUFS), labeled as one-pass in the app — not two-pass measured loudness mastering.
  • AI is BYOK only. There is no hosted AI service: the AI Studio uses your own OpenAI API key, and OpenAI's charges for generation are yours.
  • Not full Adobe parity. No CMYK, spot colors or prepress workflows; no Photoshop smart objects, advanced masking or content-aware tools; no plug-in system; not Illustrator's full pathfinder/typography/appearance stack.
  • PDF limits. No PDF form authoring, signatures/certification, OCR or PDF/A validation.
  • Local only. No collaboration, cloud documents or asset syncing — projects are single local files, and video/audio clips are referenced by file path rather than embedded.
  • Video/audio needs ffmpeg. The studios run on a bundled or system ffmpeg; if no engine is available, the app says so plainly instead of pretending to render.
