What PackPlan is — and is not
- It is a packing proposer for one account: your verified products, cartons, and rates in; packing combinations with explicit cost arithmetic out; staff failure records that rule bad combinations out.
- It is not a carrier, a rate lookup, or a guarantee. Dimensions and rates are user-verified inputs, not looked up or guaranteed. A proposal is a suggestion to verify by packing, not a promise that a box will fit, hold, or ship for that price.
- It is not a 3D packer or an optimizer. Packing is a first-fit heuristic over volume, weight, fragile separation, and do-not-stack isolation. Padding, dunnage, and real nesting are not modeled.
- It is not shared or integrated. One workspace per buying account, no cross-account sharing, and no inventory, order-system, label, video, or audio features in v1.
