🔬 Pathology Clarity
📣 What this app will do for you
This app will turn a written pathology report on your own computer into a plain-language explanation whose every claim is tied to an exact quote from the report — a second pass checks the draft against the source, and an explanation with unsupported claims is withheld, not shown. It reads reports only, never slides, and every explanation is labeled as requiring review by the treating clinician or pathologist. Heads up: it needs Python 3.11+ installed and a first launch with internet; explaining your own reports requires your own OpenAI key and billing (without one, only the built-in fictional sample works); it is not a clinically validated or diagnostic product. Backed by a 7-day money-back guarantee.
Turns written pathology, biopsy, and cytology reports into plain-language explanations where every statement is linked to the exact source words it came from. Pathology Clarity reads reports — it does not look at slides or tissue, does not confirm or change any diagnosis, and does not issue signed reports.

What it does
- Bring the report you have. Import text files, PDFs, Word documents, or images (with OCR), including addenda — or paste the text. Bounds are enforced honestly: oversized documents are refused, never silently truncated.
- You review the text first. Every extracted page is checked against the original by you before anything is generated, and you explicitly consent before any text is sent to the AI.
- Every claim must quote its source. A two-pass process (draft, then a review pass) checks the explanation against the report text: statements with invented numbers, escalated certainty, or quotes that don't appear in the source are blocked — and if anything fails, the whole explanation is withheld rather than shown with errors.
- Specimens stay separate. Language from one specimen is never borrowed to describe another, and “no nodes submitted” is never rewritten as “nodes negative.”
- A fictional sample case is built in, with a hand-authored explanation, so you can see exactly what a finished explanation looks like before using your own key.
- Every explanation carries the label: “AI-generated report explanation — requires review by the treating clinician or pathologist.”
⚠️ Read before you buy — requirements and limits
- Requires Python 3.11 or newer installed on your computer (free from python.org; 3.12 recommended) — the download is the app's source plus launchers, not a one-click installer.
- First launch needs internet. The launcher creates a private environment and downloads the app's Python packages; after that, local work runs offline.
- Runs only on your own computer. It's a single-user local app — it opens at a private address on your own machine (127.0.0.1), and your files stay there except anything you choose to send to OpenAI with your own key for an AI feature.
- AI features run on your own OpenAI API key and your own OpenAI billing. The $29 buys this software only — no AI account, credits, or subscription are included, and CertSight never sees your key (it stays in the app's memory on your computer).
- Without a key, only the sample works. You can open the built-in fictional case and read its prerecorded explanation — explaining your own reports requires your own OpenAI key. We say that here, before checkout, on purpose.
- Not a clinically validated product and not a diagnostic system. This is review and drafting software. Its verification is software testing, not a diagnostic-accuracy study, and it has no regulatory clearance.
- Verified on Linux; Windows and Mac first launch still pending. The launchers for Windows (.bat) and Mac (.command) are included and the app's logic is fully test-verified, but a first launch on real Windows and Mac hardware hasn't been done yet — we'd rather say that plainly.
- OCR depends on your machine. Reading scanned images uses Tesseract OCR if it's installed; without it, typed PDFs, documents, and pasted text still work.
If any of the above is a deal-breaker for you, Pathology Clarity isn't for you yet — and we'd rather tell you now than after checkout.
