📌 PinForge

📣 What this app will do for you

This app will help you save pages and images to your Pinterest boards — queue public page and image URLs in a local list on your Windows computer, then send each one to Pinterest through Pinterest's own share flow: the share page opens in your browser, where you pick the board and confirm. Your queue stays on your computer. Heads up: saves need public web URLs (a file on your computer can't be shared by link), the app never pins anything by itself and has no Pinterest login inside it, PinForge is not affiliated with Pinterest, and there is no macOS or Linux build yet.

Queue the pages and images you want to pin — then send them to your boards through Pinterest's own share page.

$19 one-time price. No subscription. Yours forever.

What's included: the full PinForge app for Windows · one license covers 3 computers (free a slot anytime from inside the app with "Deactivate this computer," or from your CertSight account page by regenerating your key) · your license key is emailed at checkout and can also be shown on screen right after payment.

What it does

  • Saving works through Pinterest's own share flow. Paste a public page URL — and, if you want, the URL of an image on it plus a short description — and PinForge builds Pinterest's official share link (pinterest.com/pin/create/button/) for it. That's the same share mechanism behind Pinterest's own Save button; PinForge just builds the link for you.
  • A local save queue. Saves wait in a queue stored on your computer, so you can collect links as you find them and work through them later. Each entry shows the page URL and whether an image URL was attached, and you can remove entries anytime.
  • You finish each save on Pinterest itself. Click "Open share flow" on a queued save and the share page opens in your default browser, signed into your own Pinterest account — you pick the board and confirm the pin there. PinForge never posts anything for you: there is no Pinterest sign-in inside the app, and the app never sees your Pinterest password.
  • Public URLs only. A save needs a public http(s) URL, because Pinterest fetches the page and image from the web. A file sitting on your own computer can't be shared by URL, so PinForge refuses local file paths with a clear message instead of creating a save that could never work.
  • No scraping, no Pinterest API. PinForge doesn't scrape Pinterest, doesn't read or download your boards, hosts no Pinterest data, and bundles no API key — it only builds share links and opens them in your browser.
  • Deactivate from inside the app. A "Deactivate this computer" button frees that computer's activation slot when you replace a machine — no support ticket, no waiting.
  • Everything stays on your computer. Your queue is stored locally; the only requests PinForge ever makes to CertSight are the activation and deactivation checks. No telemetry. (Once a share page opens, you're on Pinterest's site in your browser, under Pinterest's own terms and privacy policy.)

⚠️ Scope notes — read before you buy

  • Not affiliated with Pinterest. PinForge is an independent CertSight app. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Pinterest, Inc., and contains no Pinterest branding or assets — it simply builds Pinterest's public share links and opens them in your browser.
  • The app doesn't pin anything by itself. Opening a share flow ticks the entry off in your queue, but the pin only exists once you confirm it on Pinterest — if you close that browser tab without confirming, nothing was saved to your board.
  • Both URLs must be public. The optional image URL has to be a public http(s) link too, and Pinterest decides what it can fetch — a page Pinterest can't reach (paywalled, blocked, or taken down) can't be pinned, by PinForge or by anyone.
  • Windows only for now. The download below is a Windows portable build. There is no macOS or Linux build yet — we'd rather say that plainly than promise one. Your license will work on those builds if and when they're published.
  • Human GUI click-through is still pending. Checkout, licensing, and activation are covered end to end by automated tests, but the app's hands-on flows have not yet had a full human play-through on a real Windows machine — the in-app experience is v1 and we will say so plainly until that pass is done.

If any of the above is a deal-breaker for you, v1 isn't for you yet — and we'd rather tell you now than after checkout.

Download

Windows 10/11 (64-bit), portable build — no installer, just download and run.

macOS and Linux are not available yet. There is no build for them today; if one is published later, this same license key will activate it.

The app is unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may show a warning on first launch — this is normal for a new publisher. Choose "More info → Run anyway" to start it.

How activation works: at checkout your license key is emailed to you (and can be shown on screen right after payment). Enter it on the app's activation screen — one license activates on up to 3 computers, with 30-day offline trust after activation. Replacing a computer? Use "Deactivate this computer" inside the app to free its slot, or generate a fresh key from your account page (the old key stops working).
