What PlainMenu is — and is not
- It is an import-and-review tool: paste menu text or CSV, write simpler descriptions, add translations, preview large-text layouts, and print a QR page for a menu URL you provide.
- It is not a menu host. The QR page encodes a URL you already host. PlainMenu does not publish, host, or update a live menu page for you.
- It never invents food facts. Ingredients and allergens appear only when you enter them from your confirmed records. Blank means "not provided by the restaurant", never "allergen-free".
- AI translations are labeled, never verified. An AI-assisted translation says so on the preview and in the tool, and must be reviewed before printing or publishing. If the translation service is unavailable, the tool says so and changes nothing.
- Photos are links, not uploads. In v1 you describe a photo and link to one you already host; nothing is uploaded to or served from CertSight.
- One workspace per buying account. Menus belong to one account and are never shared with another account.
