What PodcastPatch is — and is not
- It is a fix-without-rerecording workflow for one speaker: paste your transcript, select a mistake, record just the corrected sentence in your browser, preview it at a matched volume, and track each fix as pending or reviewed.
- It is not transcription. There is no auto-transcription in v1 — you supply the transcript as pasted text.
- It is not server-side audio editing. The server stores only the transcript, change records, and review statuses. It does not process, splice, or render audio, and no audio is ever uploaded to it.
- It is not a studio render or a voice match. The preview is a browser-side assembly with a volume adjustment only. A re-recorded sentence will still sound like a re-recorded sentence.
