🎞️ PresentForge
📣 What this app will do for you
This app will give you a presentation maker that keeps your decks on your own computer — slides with a title and bullet lines typed one per line, a Title / Content / Image layout label per slide, real picture insert on Image slides, per-slide text formatting and four themes, reorder buttons, a fullscreen present mode with navigation, and export to a real .pptx PowerPoint file (16:9, with formatting, theme, and pictures carried into the export). Heads up: one picture per slide at a fixed placement, formatting applies per slide rather than per word, decks save in PresentForge's own .json format only (it cannot open .pptx files), and there is no presenter view or slide notes. No cloud sync, no collaboration, no AI. Backed by a 7-day money-back guarantee.

What it does
- Simple slides. Each slide is a title and bullet lines typed one per line into a plain text box — no ribbon, no toolbars to dig through. The slide list shows every slide with its layout and title; click one to edit it.
- Three layout labels. Every slide carries a layout label — Title, Content, or Image — chosen from a dropdown. The label shows in the slide list, and an Image-layout slide holds a real picture (below).
- Real pictures. An Image-layout slide takes an actual picture — PNG, JPG, or GIF up to 10 MB. The picture is stored inside the deck file, shown in the editor and in present mode, and exported into the .pptx as a real picture; a size slider controls how large it appears. Leave the slot empty and nothing is exported for it — no placeholder text.
- Per-slide formatting and themes. Each slide's title and body text can be set to a font size, bold, and an alignment, and the whole deck takes one of four themes — Classic, Midnight, Forest, or Sunset. Formatting and theme apply in the editor, in present mode, and in the .pptx export.
- Add, delete, reorder. "+ Add slide" and "Delete slide" manage the deck, and the "Move up" and "Move down" buttons swap the selected slide with its neighbor until the order is right.
- Present mode. The "Present (full screen)" button runs the deck as a true fullscreen presentation: arrow keys, the spacebar, or a click move you forward and back through the slides, and a slide counter shows where you are.
- Save deck (.json). "Save deck" writes your deck as a PresentForge .json file through your system's save dialog, and "Open deck" reads it back. Your decks are ordinary files on your own drives.
- Export .pptx. "Export .pptx" writes a genuine PowerPoint file (through the pptxgenjs library) in 16:9 widescreen: titles and bullets carry the slide's formatting and the deck's theme, and pictures export as real pictures, so the file opens in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or LibreOffice.
- Deactivate from inside the app. A "Deactivate on this computer" button frees that computer's activation slot when you replace a machine — no support ticket, no waiting.
- Everything stays on your computer. No cloud sync, no collaboration, no AI in v1. The only requests PresentForge ever makes to CertSight are the activation and deactivation checks. No telemetry.
⚠️ Scope notes — read before you buy
- One picture per slide, at a fixed placement. An Image slide holds a single picture in a fixed spot on the slide — you can size it with the slider, but you can't drag it around, crop it, or put several pictures on one slide. An image slot you leave empty exports nothing.
- Formatting is per-slide, not per-word. Font size, bold, and alignment apply to a slide's whole title or whole body text — you can't bold a single word inside a bullet or mix sizes within one block.
- Decks are .json; exports are one-way. Save/Open work in PresentForge's own .json deck format only — PresentForge cannot open .pptx files, and the .pptx export is finished output for other apps, not a file PresentForge can reopen and keep editing.
- No presenter view or slide notes. Present mode shows the slides themselves — there is no separate speaker screen, no notes field, and no timer.
- Windows only for now. The download below is a Windows portable build. There is no macOS or Linux build yet — we'd rather say that plainly than promise one. Your license will work on those builds if and when they're published.
- Human GUI click-through is still pending. Checkout, licensing, and activation are covered end to end by automated tests, but the app's hands-on flows have not yet had a full human play-through on a real Windows machine — the in-app experience is v1 and we will say so plainly until that pass is done.
If any of the above is a deal-breaker for you, v1 isn't for you yet — and we'd rather tell you now than after checkout.
Download
Windows 10/11 (64-bit), portable build — no installer, just download and run.
macOS and Linux are not available yet. There is no build for them today; if one is published later, this same license key will activate it.
The app is unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may show a warning on first launch — this is normal for a new publisher. Choose "More info → Run anyway" to start it.
How activation works: at checkout your license key is emailed to you (and can be shown on screen right after payment). Enter it on the app's activation screen — one license activates on up to 3 computers, with 30-day offline trust after activation. Replacing a computer? Use "Deactivate on this computer" inside the app to free its slot, or generate a fresh key from your account page (the old key stops working).
