What PromiseLedger is — and is not
- It is a ledger of confirmed promises: import notes, review suggestions linked to their source text, confirm each real promise with a staff owner and due date, and record fulfillment with supporting evidence.
- It is not proof that a promise was made. Suggestions — rule-based or AI-assisted — are guesses, never verified, and never counted as promised. Only a staff confirmation makes something a promise here.
- It is not a document parser. In v1 it reads pasted text and plain-text/CSV uploads only. For a PDF, Word file, or spreadsheet, paste the text in — binary files are refused with that instruction.
- It is not shared across accounts. One workspace per buying account in v1: no cross-account sharing, no staff invites, no customer-facing view.
- It invents nothing. No prices, quantities, owners, or due dates are ever filled in by the app — every one of those comes from text you pasted or typed.
