🧾 PurchaseProof
📣 What this app will do for you
This app will take a test plan: buy, upgrade, restore and turn it into a simulated check of paid access, plans, and restores. It's your Test paid access, plans & restores — built for exactly that job.
Test whether paid customers receive the correct access — before your customers find out they don't. Define what each plan is supposed to do, get an expected-access matrix, then walk each scenario yourself and record what actually happened.

Fictional example — an expected-vs-observed access matrix
⚠️ Fictional example, not a customer result or a real test run. The "Expected access" column is exactly what PurchaseProof generates from the made-up plan definition below; the "Fictional observed" and "Fictional verdict" columns are invented for illustration only, to show how a mismatch stands out. In the real tool, observed results and verdicts are always entered by the tester by hand — never auto-detected.
Made-up plan: "Pro monthly" — $29/month, monthly billing, 7-day trial with full access during the trial, full access until the paid period ends after cancellation, full access during a grace period when past due, access revoked immediately on refund, full access restored on a new device.
| Scenario | Expected access | Fictional observed | Fictional verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| Active paid customer | Full access | Full access | Pass |
| In free trial | Full access | Full access | Pass |
| Trial expired, never paid | No access | No access | Pass |
| Cancelled, still within paid period | Full access until the paid period ends | Full access | Pass |
| Cancelled, paid period ended | No access | No access | Pass |
| Payment failed / past due | Full access during a grace period | Full access | Pass |
| Refunded | Access revoked immediately | Full access | Fail — access was still there after the refund |
| Restore on a new device / reinstall | Full access restored | Full access | Pass |
| Expired, then repurchased | Full access | Full access | Pass |
The point of the exercise is the one Fail row: the matrix says a refund should revoke access immediately, the fictional tester still saw full access, so that scenario is flagged for fixing — by a human judgment, not by the app.
What PurchaseProof is — and is not
- It is a manual test organizer: plan definitions, a generated expected-access matrix, and a guided checklist where you record observed results, notes, and pasted evidence per scenario.
- It is not an automated billing test. It connects to no payment provider, simulates no purchase, and verifies no real customer's access. Any claim that a scenario "passed automatically" would be false — every verdict here is a human judgment you entered.
- It is not a billing system. It does not grant, revoke, or restore access in your product; it only records what you found when you tested those flows yourself.
- Inputs are pasted text and plain-text CSV only in v1. Binary documents are not parsed — paste the relevant text instead.
