📸 ShotMark

📣 What this app will do for you

This app will capture a region, the frontmost window, or the full screen, then let you draw arrows, boxes, and text on the shot and copy it or save it as PNG. Heads up: the Mac build is in progress — there is no download or purchase yet, and capturing other apps' windows needs Screen Recording permission.

Capture it, mark it up, send it. Region, window, or full screen — then arrows, boxes, text.

Coming soon — Mac build in progress. ShotMark is not available to buy or download yet. The Mac app is being built now; this page will offer the download the moment a tested build exists.

$29 planned one-time price. No subscription. No purchase yet — the price is shown so you know what it will cost when it launches.

What's planned: the full ShotMark app for macOS (Apple Silicon) · one license covers 3 computers (free a slot anytime by deactivating a computer in the app) · your license key is emailed at checkout and can also be shown on screen right after payment.

What it does

  • Three capture modes — drag a region on a dimmed overlay, capture the frontmost window, or grab the full screen, all from the menu bar.
  • Annotate fast — arrows, boxes, and text on the shot, drawn on a canvas over the capture.
  • Copy or save — copy the finished shot to the pasteboard or save it as a PNG file.
  • Menu-bar app — capture without opening a window first.

⚠️ Scope notes — read before launch

  • Frontmost-window capture only. No window picker list in v1 — the window in front is the window you get.
  • No scrolling capture, no timed capture, no video. Still screenshots only in v1.
  • Text annotations use the system font. No font picker in v1.
  • Capturing other apps' windows needs Screen Recording permission. Without it, captures fail with an honest message instead of a blank image.
  • Apple Silicon only (M1 or later). There is no Intel Mac build planned for v1.

If any of the above is a deal-breaker for you, v1 isn't for you yet — and we'd rather tell you now than after checkout.

Download

macOS (Apple Silicon, M1 or later) when it launches.

No download is available yet. The macOS download will appear here the moment a tested build is published — there is no installer link today, and this page will not pretend otherwise.

When the installer ships, it will be unsigned at first, so macOS Gatekeeper may show a warning on first launch — this is normal for a new publisher. Right-click the app and choose Open.
