▭ SnapLine

📣 What this app will do for you

This app will snap the focused window to halves, thirds, or quarters with a keyboard shortcut, on whichever monitor the window is on, from a menu-bar app with no Dock icon. Heads up: the Mac build is in progress — there is no download or purchase yet, and moving windows needs Accessibility permission.

Keyboard shortcuts for your windows. Halves, thirds, quarters — on any monitor.

Coming soon — Mac build in progress. SnapLine is not available to buy or download yet. The Mac app is being built now; this page will offer the download the moment a tested build exists.

$29 planned one-time price. No subscription. No purchase yet — the price is shown so you know what it will cost when it launches.

What's planned: the full SnapLine app for macOS (Apple Silicon) · one license covers 3 computers (free a slot anytime by deactivating a computer in the app) · your license key is emailed at checkout and can also be shown on screen right after payment.

What it does

  • Snap with a shortcut — Cmd+Opt+arrows snap to halves, Cmd+Opt+1/2/3 snap to thirds, Cmd+Opt+Q/E/Z/C snap to quarters. Everything is also in the menu-bar menu.
  • Multi-monitor aware — the snap lands on whichever monitor the window is currently on, using that monitor's visible area so windows stay off the menu bar and Dock.
  • Menu-bar app, no Dock icon — SnapLine lives in the menu bar and stays out of your way until you need it.
  • Maximize and center too — one shortcut-free menu item each for a full-size window and a centered window.

⚠️ Scope notes — read before launch

  • It moves the focused window only. No tiling layouts, no saved layouts, no Spaces or Stage Manager awareness in v1.
  • Hotkeys are fixed in v1. Custom keybindings are not part of the first version.
  • It needs Accessibility permission. macOS requires it before any app can move windows. Without it, SnapLine's menu says so plainly and nothing moves — it never fails silently.
  • Apple Silicon only (M1 or later). There is no Intel Mac build planned for v1.

If any of the above is a deal-breaker for you, v1 isn't for you yet — and we'd rather tell you now than after checkout.

Download

macOS (Apple Silicon, M1 or later) when it launches.

No download is available yet. The macOS download will appear here the moment a tested build is published — there is no installer link today, and this page will not pretend otherwise.

When the installer ships, it will be unsigned at first, so macOS Gatekeeper may show a warning on first launch — this is normal for a new publisher. Right-click the app and choose Open.
