What's included: the full TimeForge app for Windows & Linux · one license covers 3 computers (free a slot anytime by deactivating a computer in the app) · your license key is emailed at checkout and can be regenerated from your account page if you lose it.

What it does

  • Timers — start and stop timers per task and project. One timer runs at a time; starting a new timer stops the running one.
  • Manual entries — add, edit, and delete entries with start/end times, task, project, and notes.
  • Timesheets — daily view and weekly view (Monday-first).
  • Reports — totals per project and per period, plus a grand total.
  • CSV export — export entries with ISO timestamps and durations in whole minutes.
  • Everything runs on your computer. Entries are stored locally in a JSON file; the only network touch is activation and deactivation.

⚠️ Scope notes — read before you buy

  • No cloud sync, no team features, no invoicing, no accounts. TimeForge is single-player by design.
  • The macOS installer is coming. It needs a Mac build, so v1 ships Windows and Linux only — the macOS download will appear here the moment it's published.
  • Human GUI click-through is still pending. The app's hands-on flows have not yet had a full human play-through pass. The licensing, checkout and activation paths are covered by automated tests; the in-app experience is v1 and we will say so plainly until that pass is done.

If any of the above is a deal-breaker for you, v1 isn't for you yet — and we'd rather tell you now than after checkout.

Download

Windows 10/11 (64-bit) and Linux (64-bit). macOS coming with a Mac build.

The macOS installer is being prepared and will appear here the moment it's published — your license key will work as soon as it's posted.

The installers are unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen and macOS Gatekeeper may show a warning on first launch — this is normal for a new publisher. On macOS, right-click the app and choose Open; on Windows, choose "More info → Run anyway".

One license activates on up to 3 computers, with 30-day offline trust after activation. No accounts, no telemetry, no phone-home beyond the one activation call.
