What it does

  • Live preview up to 1920×1080. Pick your camera and see the picture immediately, at the resolution your webcam actually offers.
  • Photos and manual recordings. Snap a photo, or record video with audio for as long as you like.
  • Motion-detection recording. Turn it on and pick a sensitivity. When motion is detected, recording starts — and thanks to a rolling buffer, the saved clip includes the 10 seconds before the motion, so you see what led up to the event, not just the aftermath. Recording keeps going for 10 seconds after motion stops.
  • Date and time in the picture. Every motion clip has the date and time burned into the frames themselves, ticking second by second — the stamp is part of the video, not a filename you have to trust.
  • Clips you can trust. A clip is written as .partial.mp4 while it records and renamed to a normal motion-….mp4 only when it finishes cleanly — an interrupted recording never masquerades as a good one.
  • Your folder, your settings. Choose where captures are saved; the app remembers your folder, motion setting and sensitivity between runs.

  • The app is unsigned. Windows SmartScreen will warn on first launch ("Windows protected your PC"). Choose "More info → Run anyway" — only for the file you downloaded from this page after buying.
  • Motion clips have no audio. The 10-second pre-roll is buffered video frames, so motion clips are video-only. Manual recordings you start yourself do include audio.
  • No scheduling, no effects. This build records when you tell it to and when it sees motion. It does not record on a schedule, and it has no background-removal effects or face tracking.
  • It watches one webcam at a time, and motion detection needs the app open and the camera running — it is not a background service and does not record while your PC is asleep.
  • Everything is local. Video is stored only in the folder you choose on your own PC. Nothing is uploaded anywhere, and the app collects no telemetry.
